About me
I am a freelance guitarist/composer/arranger, lately having been working more and more with the arranging and composing side of things.
My credits include orchestration for a major finnish movie (Dark Floors, featuring memebers of the band "Lordi", winner of Eurovision song contest 2006), arrangements and orchestrations for finnish singer Jari Sillanpää´s album featuring London Philharmonia Orchestra (recorded in Abbey Road, London), arrangements for Lahti Symphony orchestra, a finnish youth symphony orchestra (Espoon musiikkiopiston sinfoniaorkesteri) and Estonian chamber ensemble, compositions for UMO Jazz Orchestra (Finland´s premier big band), arranging for several choirs in 2010 season of "Battle of the Choirs" (finnish TV-series), and string arrangements for trumpet player Jukka Eskola´s album "Walkover".
My second album is ready to be released in Sep 2010, featuring Jukka Eskola (from Five Corners Quintet) on trumpet, and this time the spotlight is on my compositions and arrangements for an all-star nine-piece orchestra. The record will be released by Helsinki-based jazz label Ricky-Tick Records, our first performance will be on Sep 11th in Sellosali, Espoo. My first soloalbum was released in 2007, featuring trumpet player Leroy Jones from New Orleans (known for his work with Harry Connick jr. for example) which You can buy from iTunes. Follow this link:
